Yoda is the first reliable oil pressing machine for home use. It is compact but has a strong motor and all the features of a large, bulky, industrial pressing machine. It is designed to last and to perform, so, you can have your own cold pressed oil, in the confort of your house. Efficiency varies between 30 and 80 %, depending on the ingredients you introduce and their oil content.
It has seven presets that ease your work, you just have to presss the right button and every setting is going to be adjusted according to the ingredient you have selected. The presets are: peanut, sesame, sunflower seed, rapeseed, flaxseed, walnut, mix.
Every setting corresponds to one of the common ingredients that can be squeezed. If your ingredient is not listed, then you can use the “mixed“ preset. Presets differ one from another, the texture of the ingredient and the oil content determines the temperature used for heating the extrusion shaft and the squeezing pressure that is needed. The Yoda oil machine is a cold press, the oil that comes out is an extra-virgin oil that has a temperature less than 40 Celsius.
However, the remaining residue can`t be always evacuated as it is, if the ingredient that you are processing has a very hard texture, the Yoda oil press will heat up the extrusion shaft up to 100 Celsius, in order to be able to evacuate the remaining residues. Depending on the ingredient, the time needed for squeezing oil out of 100 g of ingredients varies between 3 and 5 minutes (for instance, time for squeezing oil out of sesame is lower than that needed for walnuts). Because it uses cold pressing technology, the oil that comes out is a pure, not refined oil, that preserves all the valuable things inside : enzymes, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, etc.
More, it keeps the natural smell and flavour so it is going to enhance your food`s or your salad`s taste. Fresh oil is not clear, it has sediments that settle on the bottom of the recipient if not stirred for a while. Yoda can extract oil out of: sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, peanuts, walnuts, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, sesame, flax seeds, linseed, chia, hemp, dehydrated coconut or raw olives.
